Catch and Release
Understanding the very serious issue facing humans concerning clean sources of water I am often surprised by the sheer amount of dripping faucets. Rarely repaired, often just dripping away, I decided to confront the issue, capturing the stray drips from a leaky faucet for one week. In order to keep up with the supply I had to begin filling any container designed to hold liquid. Records were kept with video and photographs and at the end of the week I transferred the liquid to large buckets and released it back in its original habitat, the Colorado River.
Sometimes I lay in bed at night wondering if the very water I collected worked its way back and eventually leaked from some other rogue tap. Destiny?
